We were engaged to help coordinate the design of a new multi-family boathouse to replace a deteriorated structure on Boathouse Row in Thousand Island Park. Working closely with Dave Knapp of DAK Design and Construction—who both developed the initial concept and built the project—we integrated two distinct programmatic needs: one family’s desire for a boathouse and workshop, and the other’s need for a boat port and storage shed.
