Taylored Architecture designed and permitted a new boathouse gracefully perched over the property’s existing dock and timber crib. Drawing inspiration from archival drawings of the original two-story boathouse—once complete with living quarters—we reinterpreted its historic character within modern permitting constraints. The resulting design honors the spirit of the past while meeting the client’s contemporary needs, adding depth and timeless beauty to the estate’s waterside setting and historic lodge.
